Bergey Wind Turbines

JBS Wind and Bergey The Bergey Wind Corporation (BWC) EXCEL is a modern 6.7 meter (22 ft) diameter, 10KW wind turbine designed for high reliability, low maintenance, and automatic operation in adverse weather conditions. It is available in two configurations:  the grid-connected (the Excel) and a battery charging (the Excel R) unit. The BWC turbines are ruggedly built. Bergey was the first to offer a five year Warrantyin the industry. With only three moving parts and no scheduled maintenance necessary, the Bergey 10 kW has compiled a service record that no other wind turbine can match. They back it up with the longest warranty in the industry.
The battery charging BWC EXCEL's can be supplied with outputs of 24, 48, 120 or 240 VDC. They are well suited for large rural homes, remote villages and facilities, eco-tourism resorts, and larger telecommunications sites.
Connected to the grid, the BWC EXCEL can provide most of the electricity for an average home at moderate wind sites. The all new GridTek 10 power processor (inverter) is one of the most advanced in the industry and it carries a full 1741 UL certification which complies to the latest utility standards.
