Product Line Up

This turbine at its price point produces more energy than any other turbine we carry.

At Endurance Wind Power, their engineers live and breath wind energy. With a deep knowledge base born of extensive industry experience and a profound desire to bring clean, efficient, renewable energy within reach of homeowners, businesses and institutions across the continent and beyond, their team strives to design, manufacture and support the best wind energy turbines on the market.

The Endurance Product Line up includes the S343, G3120 and E3120 wind turbines.

The S343 is designed for applications requiring 6,000 - 18,000 kWh of electricity annually such as residences, and small farm applications. Designed by two of the most respected wind engineers in the business.

The E and G series turbines born out of the PGE Energies R&D group and now owned by Endurance, with there massive swept area is now available in both 1 and 3 phase configurations. They are ideal for applications requiring between 100,000 – 200,000+ kWh of electricity (approx 85% of the Northwind 100) such as larger farms, irrigation pivots, small schools, and manufacturing and fabrication companies.

Completly installed from the low to mid $300,000's

Embracing design principals that have been instrumental to the growing success of large scale wind farms. Endurance has focused on a number of critical design attributes:

    • Production Efficiency
      • Endurance wind turbines are low RPM, asynchronous machines with large swept area blade designs. Their turbines leverage larger swept areas to start producing power in lower wind conditions and to produce more power than competing units throughout various wind conditions. As well, all Endurance wind turbines are asynchronous, meaning they rely on induction generators to produce electricity from the wind. This configuration is common to large scale wind turbines and is employed in the most modern of distributed wind turbine designs. Asynchronous, Induction Generator turbines produce grid-ready AC power which can flow directly on to the grid through standard electrical connections. To date, the industry standard for distributed wind turbine generator technology has been permanent magnet generators which require external inverters to convert DC current to AC. This conversion process increases equipment and maintenance costs and reduces overall power production due to inverter loss.

    • Reliability
      • Engineering excellence, robust components and exhaustive testing are the cornerstones of this wind turbine design, production and deployment process. Throughout initial design and subsequent revisions, all of the models have undergone extensive testing to ensure that Endurance wind turbine owners can count on their turbines over a 30-40 year lifespan, amongst the longest in the industry.

  • Safe Operation
    • Endurance wind turbines are installed in residential settings, university campuses and hospital parking lots. Safety is their number one priority at Endurance Wind Power.
      Safety features include:
      • Dual disc brakes
When the turbines control system detects any fault condition such as excess wind or a grid power loss, the disc braking system activates, shutting the turbine down completely until the control system instructs the brakes to release and the turbine to turn again.
      • Aerodynamic stalling
Endurance employs advanced blade designs that shed wind in excessive wind conditions in order to protect the turbine from damage.
      • Advanced computer control system
Each of the turbine models is controlled by an onboard computer system and their proprietary software application which manages all operational aspects of the turbine such as power output, cut-in, cut-out, fault detection, pneumatic breaking and blade furling.
    • Quiet Operation
      • Quiet operation is a must for modern distributed wind turbines. Endurance has focused on minimizing noise output throughout the operating range of their turbines. Even at higher wind speeds, the S, G and E series wind turbines are so quiet that they will not drown out a background conversation between two people.

    • Clean Aesthetics
      • Whether Endurance wind turbines are being installed in residential, rural or business settings, the visual impact of our turbines is important to our customers. Clean lines, and smooth transitions from blades to nacelle and tower ensure that Endurance wind turbines are pleasing to the eye in any landscape.
